carpe diem lounge, düsseldorf, 2002
design of a fair stand.
client: red bull
the 40-80 sqm carpe-diem lounge was created for the productline ‚kombucha,
ginko and kefir’ of the red bull company and its brand ‘carpe
diem’. the installation is supposed to tour all countries where
the carpe diem product line is offered as kind of an event-exhibition.
therefore all elements were created to allow an easy and fast set up.
all materials and colours used, show the relation of the product to nature
and wellness. for the flooring we used woodpanels with integrated indirect
lighting elements. all chairs were especially designed for the lounge.
we used fibre glass with a light fibre structure for the side tables and
the surface of the bar, which are all indirectly lighted from underneath.
a very distinctive individual recognition factor of the different products
was the main point of our design.
